This item is handmade in 14k gold filled and freshwater cultured pearls.

Although 14k gold filled jewellery is tarnish resistant we do recommend you avoid getting pearls wet and into contact with perfume, chemicals, chlorine and saltwater. Exposure to these environments can cause staining and the pearls to loose their lustre over time.

Do not soak a pearl necklace in water as it can weaken the silk thread. 

Clean with a lint free damp cloth when required and pat dry before storing. 

Gold- filled is the closest alternative to solid gold. It consists of a thick layer of solid gold bonded by extreme heat onto a brass base layer. 

This method compared to plated or vermeil which is dipped in gold results in an extremely durable, water proof and tarnish resistant piece of jewellery.

You can sleep, shower and go to the gym in our gold-filled designs no problem! The perfect choice for everyday wear.
