Gold filled is the closest alternative to solid gold. It is created by bonding a layer of real gold to a brass base metal by heat. Gold filled jewellery is waterproof and will not tarnish. Hallmarked with the 14KGF stamp of authenticity. 

Avoid getting pearls wet and into contact with perfume, chemicals, chlorine and saltwater. Exposure to these environments can cause staining and the pearls to loose their lustre over time.

Do not soak a pearl necklace in water as it can weaken the silk thread. 

Clean with a lint free damp cloth when required and pat dry before storing.
